Appearance:
Loz's general physique is similar to that of a stereotypical masculine male, standing at six feet. He is well built, fighting hand-to-hand combat much more proficiently than a normal human would [he probably has a six-pack at the very least]. His hair is of several shades of gray/silver, and would probably be chin-length if it were combed down. It is worn in a simple way: slightly slicked back with several strands loose around the front of his head. Along the side of Loz's head are sideburns that stretch halfway across his cheek. The expressions that he has have a wide-range for they tend to quickly change at the mention of different topics ( i.e. Mother)—sometimes he looks down smugly at people or looks at them as though he is amused while at other times, Loz appears as if he's about to cry.

Similarly to the clothing Kadaj and Yazoo wears, Loz also wears an outfit consisted of several pieces of leather. It's rather tight, hinting at his robust body. His leather jacket has a zipper, which only goes up to a quarter above the bottom of his chest, again, showing other his build. There are several straps that run across the side of his jacket to the back of it.

Personality:
Despite Loz's physical traits, he is actually much more childish and weak than he should be. Chilidsh and erm… a bit mentally challenged. It's not to a point to make someone wonder whether or not he's retarded or not (or is it?) but it's enough to make others question Loz's intellect. Which is kind of the similar concept. To put it simply, he's a bit of an idiot. Essentially, even though Loz appears to be in his twenties, he acts as a child would.

Loz is best known for his "emotional outbreaks"—caused every time Mother is mentioned. If it's enough to taunt him, which isn't much, he often ends up crying and then moves onto using aggression. He's very dramatic, and overly sensitive.

Compared to others, it can also be said that he is a bit sadistic toward others of no "positive relation" to him.

Abilities/Weaponry:
Like his brothers, Loz is able to summon and withdraw creatures called Shadow Creepers. He is obviously very physically strong, in addition, is extremely fast compared to normal people, and to top it off, very flexible. With a combination of these traits, he is able to beat most people in hand-to-hand combat. If the battle calls for it, he uses his "Dual Hound"—best described as a stungun and shield double. This weapon is attached to his left arm at most times.

Before the "reunion" (which was never finished), he was able to get his hands on a whole container full of various kinds of materia. Materia are orbs that can be used to gain certain abilities. As impractical as this may be, Loz will be lugging this around until he is told to find a better use for it by one of his brothers…

Weaknesses:
At many times, as previously mentioned in the 'personality' section, his impulsive reactions to situations (or more frankly, Loz's times of idiocy) occasionally create situations unfavorable to him. Although it does not usually greatly affect his fighting skills, it is nonetheless, compels him to use aggressive actions on any individual he feels the need to set straight. In this kind of given case, his brawns are Loz's strengths and weakness. This might even extend to the fact that he seems to see his tasks as times to play rather than to get the job done in a serious manner.

In addition, Loz is a very emotional individual, therefore quite easy to tease: he often ends up crying at even the mention of the fact that he and his brothers do not have contact with their Mother. This leads to add that he is also devoted to his Mother, the reunion, and his two brothers. Many a times, this loyalty leads him to feel that he needs to do something unintelligent.

History:
As a Shinentai—which is, in some sense, a remnant—Loz has a very short past. Like his brothers, Kadaj and Yazoo, he embodies a trait of Sephiroth: his outer masculinity. As far as Loz can tell, he and his brothers have always been together, searching for the remaining cells of their Mother (aka Jenova, although none of his brothers or himself would ever admit to it) or the Reunion, and trigger the return of Sephiroth.

Recently, Kadaj had made plans to search for their "brother", Cloud, and retrieve Mother from the ShinRa Electric Company's president. The brothers are reunited with many of their younger "siblings" but are confronted by Cloud, who Loz takes the liberty to fight. Amidst their fiasco of a reunion, Loz somehow arrives at Paixao.
